A NEW STORY is a 2 hour workshop introducing participants to the mode and language of story, and equipping them in some basic story-telling skills.

GREAT STORY-telling is a one day learning experience equipping participants in the WHY, WHAT, and HOW of “Chronological Bible Storying”.  This day will expose participants to the rationale behind storying, give some definition and description of what storying is, and some practical hands-on training for how to utilise storying in their own context.

PLANTED & PLANTING is a one day learning experience helping participants understand their own story in the greater story of God (PLANTED), and in helping others to recognise the story of God (PLANTING)

WAVEMAKERS is a two day learning experience for “fresh” youth leaders (those beginning or new to their leadership journey) equipping them in the whole story of God, fusing my story and God’s story, life and ministry of Jesus, overcoming the hazards of youth ministry, and small group leadership training.  Contact YMA’s Dave Huddleston for further details.

A significant part of our heartbeat is to provide others with the opportunity to be equipped in STORY-FORMED DISCIPLESHIP and STORY-BASED EVANGELISM.

We see STORY-FORMED DISCIPLESHIP as a return to the understanding that following Jesus is about “going where Jesus goes” (Matthew 4:18-25).  This understanding assumes a commitment to the whole story of God in content, the mode of story in modelling and mentoring, and the language of story in communication.

We see STORY-BASED EVANGELISM as a commitment to helping people recognise the story of God in their own story, and then to discover how their story is an intrinsic part of the story of God.
