COACHING

ATS Director, Trav Johnson shares three keys to healthy innovation

If you're anything like us, you love creating new pathways for people to genuinely connect with God and one another

but forging a new path can be exhausting,

and sometimes a bit confusing

- it requires a particular kind of resilience and tenacity -

we know the value of support when you're trying something different, and we're learning that:

RELATIONSHIPS are more important than programs;

STORY helps make sense of complexity; and

POSSIBILITY is a better posture than cynicism.

If you're passionate about sustainable impact, navigating complexity, and rising above cynicism; then

our approach to coaching might be the support you're after.

My name is Travis Johnson

(B Min; Grad Cert in mental health)

I take the meaning of ‘coach’ seriously:

”To carry someone through.”

It would be my privilege to walk alongside you as you innovate something new.

When I talk with people they often say: ‘good question’, or ‘this has been helpful.’

I’m not sure if its my 30+ years of experience in church leadership (being employed as a pastor in 4 churches); pioneering new initiatives while leading my own organisation over the last decade; or being a parent guiding my kids through seasons of serious mental health struggles.

It’s probably a combination of all these things.

Bringing a transformational coaching  approach to the conversations I’m a part of means people often walk away with clarity on how they can move forward.

If that’s what you’re after then I would love the chance to help you discover your next steps.

"Trav provided personal support for me to manage the mental and emotional load I was carrying, and led our team through a carefully crafted process of remembering why we were there, raising the issues that needed to be addressed, and establishing an agreed pathway forward."
